Vasectomy and the Risk of Prostate Cancer

Does vasectomy increase the risk of prostate cancer? Some studies have found a small increased risk in men many years later. But the risk is low. As one sage remarked, “Getting older is invariably fatal, getting prostate cancer only sometimes.” As a commonly slow-growing cancer, prostate cancer patients often die of something else first.
